I've been investigating the the way my own inmost nature expresses the desire to connect with other humans, as if via new tendrils which become connecting branches, or maybe roots. However, that metaphor doesn't quite work since plant branches don't usually unite 'individual' plants which then grow together. But if we consider us all to actually be of one Being, then these connecting tendrils I feel in myself could be reconceived as like hypha in a mycorrhizal network. And even more, connecting us with the rest of life. (Have you seen this touching example of interspecies communication, Amelia? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xMLwAP2qyk)

YES! Connection with other humans is very much like being part of the mycorrhizal network. I also imagine myself to be part of that network itself, through my energy, connecting to all our non-human kin.

If you ever feel like/have spoons to expand, i would love an exploration of different rituals we could do in our own lives to de-spell the individualism and make us more open to seeing and acting on moments of connection as those opportunities arise.
